After the trip: Final steps

The trip is over, but the work to utilize it has just begun.
Now it's time to guarantee the results of the effort:

First:
  • scan through both lists of participants and highlight all the people you talked with
  • send a note to everyone you want to be in contact with in the future. If you don't know exactly what to write right now, tell him/her that it was a pleasure to meet, and that you look forward to meeting again
  • invite your new contacts to your LinkedIn network, also Facebook if you like
  • if you promised to send photos you took, a link or anything else, don't wait anymore but do it
(You might have noticed my international network is quite impressive and I make good use of it, also in the interests of you. The secret is simple: work. If you want to build a live network you have to communicate to people you really make an effort to keep in touch with them.)

Second:

Do what you have to do on this blog as long as your memories are fresh. Post the interviews and look at the contributions by others and comment them. Add relevant links to the links section on the blog.
Help Ansu, Albert and Vasia to create the report.

Also, I would highly appreciate if you wrote something on the artmedia (and the Finnish ttvo) blog. Your grade for IMP-21 Networked Media Culture will improve if you show such activity. (Also posts on other blogs account. Eka has already posted a story to her own blog.

Third:

Fill in the feedback document on Google docs. You will receive the invitation separately. This is very important for Ansu, Albert and Vasia to enable them to do their report, and for me and ICNM to be able to improve next year.

DEADLINE for your input to the blog and feedback document next Monday November 22, for Vasia, Albert and Ansu Monday November 29.

Some of you were impressed by the presentation of Zsófia Ruttkay. Good news: she will most probably give a workshop on our international week.

You can find the presentations referred by Jak Boumans after Zsófia's talk following the link below, also the pre-internet presentation by Jak:

I will send you soon a Doodle vote to enable us to decide time for our next meeting.

Thanks for following me to Graz!
